The Return of King

Artist Carole King is back at the Seagull Gallery, Cardigan, with a new exhibition of paintings, prints and books. The sea and the West Wales coast have inspired much of her work which features seaweed, rusting chains from our stone harbours and local views.

Sheets of silkscreen-printed, patterned paper provide the raw material for her hand-stitched books, bound in a variety of styles and sizes, and for writing, sketching and painting.

During the show Carole will be teaching two bookbinding workshops in the gallery.
