Volunteer Drivers Wanted

Open Clipart-Vector/Pixabay

Newport Memorial Hall needs a pool of volunteer drivers to take part in a new project to help people with mobility problems.

It has the opportunity of providing an electric vehicle for use by the community for a period of 12 months. The vehicle will be able to carry a wheelchair.

This will be a fare-paying service aimed at folks in the community who have mobility issues, are wheelchair users or don’t have their own transport and cannot make use of existing services.

Training will be provided by PACTO (Pembrokeshire Association of Community Transport Organisations).

For more information or to volunteer, contact Grace Hagen; mrs.ghagen@gmail.com.
