Shed Aid – Appeal to Raise Funds

Fishguard and Goodwick Community Fridge has been an integral part of Fishguard and Goodwick since 2015. We were the first one to open in Wales.

We had to move from opposite the Coop to a shed in the Gateway car park in 2017 due to road changes. Our beautiful shed has survived covid and many accidents in recent years but is now showing its age. It has been nudged so much that it is no longer waterproof. The time has come to replace it and we are looking for help to raise funds.

We are going to need a new shed, insulation, floor covering, a partition wall, doors at either end (one a stable door, one a double door), reconditioned fridges, new shelving and rewiring. We are looking to raise at least £3,000.

We’ll re-use as much as we can from the existing structure but we’ll need help with the ground underneath the shed, actual construction and fitting the shed, which will have two sides, one for the pantry which will be the same floor size, (but no more banging your head!) and one for storage.
