Haverhub has become a major venue in Haverfordwest since it opened in 2018 and now, thanks to funding from the UK Government’s Shared Prosperity Fund, administered by Pembrokeshire County Council, it has undergone extensive improvement. The work has involved an acoustic wall, secure storage, technical equipment, new seating, and a larger,  more adaptable stage area.

Haverhub plans to celebrate with a range of new events, including Tankus the Henge on 4 October (a band described as defying categorisation) and its Oktoberfest.

Also on offer, are local artist exhibitions in the café and hall, and a wide range of classes. These include wellbeing and fitness, choirs, open mic nights and poetry. The Hub also holds markets and public engagement and offers a wide range of opportunities for all ages to get involved with the community.

She spends her time searching out stories for pembrokeshire.online, swimming in the sea , drawing and painting as Snorkelfish and eating cake. She says "Pembrokeshire.online has been an opportunity to celebrate this beautiful county and its people. Keep the stories coming. We love to hear from you."
