Fun Side of the Moon
The Giraldus Centre, Manorbier, says: “We have a fascinating evening of storytelling and moongazing to coincide with the standstill of the moon.
“Lunistice or lunar standstill is when the moon is at its farthest reach, north or south. There are both minor events which happen each month and major ones which are much rarer.
“Since ancient times people all over the world have created monuments that reflect these and other astronomical events.”
