Get Posting for Christmas

The Post Office expects high volumes of post this year. Following a survey it found that 33 per cent of customers planned to use the postal service to send cards and gifts. This is up from 20 per cent last year.
Many people are expected to leave things until the week before Christmas – which is likely to put pressure on delivery services. The Post Office is advising people to get organised and send parcels by 8 December to help ensure the safe arrival of gifts by Christmas.
The advice on its website for cards says send second class by 17 December and first class by 20 December.
