We wrote a while ago about the charity A Bucketful of Hope and its plans to make Foley House in Haverfordwest its support centre.

The charity was set up by the family of  Adam Evan Thomas, who lived with chronic myeloid leukaemia for some years before dying in his mid-thirties.

Foley House, originally designed in Georgian times by John Nash but empty for the past two decades, will not only provide a new base for the charity but will include a number of treatments and services.

Among these will be arts and crafts, meditation, singing and light exercise. There are also plans for tea rooms, and music events in what will be a fully accessible and sensitively renovated space.
