Natural Resources Wales has approved Llŷr Floating Offshore Wind Farm – the first of its kind to be located off the coast of Pembrokeshire.
The 10 turbines, each almost 300 metres above the sea, will be part of plans to test and develop new technology. The company has given assurances on safety and impact on local communities.
Two 50km offshore export cables will be used to deliver power to shore.
