Marine Energy and Nature Recovery

Experts in marine energy and environmental conservation have been brought together for an event at the Torch Theatre, Milford Haven, on 27 November, under the auspices of the Nature and Marine Energy Engagement Plan and the Pembrokeshire Coastal Forum. The event at 7pm is free.

Their purpose is to explore progress in generating renewable energy from the marine environment while also preserving the natural world.

They ask: “How can marine renewable energy support nature recovery? How do we monitor wildlife impacts in marine developments? And what happens when unexpected challenges arise?”

Through discussion, and the views of the public, they offer a chance to understand and help to have a hand in creating the environment and energy solutions of the future.
